This session will provide a brief overview of Significant Disproportionality along with information on the data elements and calculations Nebraska uses for determining significant disproportionality. Additionally, two districts from Nebraska will share their perspectives of the process of being identified with significant disproportionality, how they worked through the IDEA Data Center’s (IDC) Success Gaps Toolkit, identified root cause, wrote action plans and the success they have seen with implementing the action plan and using the required CCEIS dollars to support the activities in the Action Plan in addressing inequities and improve educational outcomes for students.
