Elementary administrators and educators can reimagine what social studies looks like in grades K-5. Through a partnership with the Smithsonian Institute, NDE has co-created modules to support the instructional shifts in social studies. As we redefine social studies instructional materials, the time is now to implement strong instructional strategies that can result in higher literacy proficiency on standardized testing. Come join this session because after all, social studies is elementary, my dear!
