To close the homework gap we need to determine whether students have sufficient internet (Digital Equity) while away from school. What if there was an application that could perform a secure speed test whenever a student uses their school-provided device outside of school hours? Results and location data could be securely uploaded once the device is reconnected to the school network. These metrics could provide depictions of internet availability and reliability for students. Attend this session to learn about the initiative and find out how to participate.
