Come learn how Licensed Mental Health Practitioners (LMHP) and School Psychologists work in partnership with school staff to provide students with the mental health supports they need to function in the school setting. The session will cover hiring, funding, the role of the school-based therapy, and the benefits. We will share how the benefits of being part of school teams allows for not only direct therapy but the opportunity to educate teachers on classroom strategies that help ALL students in regulating their behaviors. We will talk about how the support can be at a Tier 1, Tier 2, and/or Tier 3 level. Also joining the presentation will be principal sharing how they utilize the program in their schools.
