The Science of Reading has been a focus of the conversation and professional development across the state of Nebraska. For the majority of these professional development opportunities, the key audience has been classroom teachers. School leaders must also be provided with the knowledge of the Science of Reading AND be provided with the most current research on what “good” leaders do. Session attendees will learn about this research and how to lead change in literacy practices in their schools.
